My first priority is keeping up with all ya'll's (I think spell check just had a seizure on that one) blogs, and beyond that writing a real update, which this is not. This is a non-update notification. Note the lack of punchlines or pet references.
This is the slobber-knockeriest (okay, I can definitely hear spell check crying now) weekend of the whole production intense performing season, and when I'm not skidding around on ice-rink roads dressed funny with a back seat full of sound equipment and a draw drum poking me in the ear, I'm on the phone making nice with venues and performers, so the internet's mostly just for MapQuest and icanhascheezburger (hey, a gal's got to have something to get her through) these days.

The spell checker slipped up - it's y'all because it is a contraction of you and all.
Sounds tough - but what's a draw drum?
It's a large, spinning metal device that, when arranged correctly on a heap of sound equipment in the back seat of a car, slides forward at intermittent intervals to poke you in the ear.

oh the life of an artiste is not a happy one with a drum sticking in your ear.Have you tried a borgainvillia (sp!) flower behind the ear instead, it's prettier and less noisy... just a thought!

Well for not being a "real" update, it certainly was entertaining! I think it's cool that you don't give in to spell check's bossy ways. Even when I purposefully spell something wrong, I have been known to allow spell check to shame me back into spelling it correctly. :-(
